Do I Need to be a Member of Second Life® to Sell Albums
Through Sonorant VR2L Media®?

No! Sonorant VR2L Media® will build, sell and distribute your media (currently MP3s and .movs) in Second Life® for you, as long as you have have the rights to the media content.

How Much Do I Get Paid?

Typically, the terms of our agreement are that Sonorant VR2L Media® takes 20% of all sales. The other 80% is split between the Artist and the Label pursuant to their own agreements. Please note that the Content Owner is solely responsible for the payment of all mechanical license royalties and/or other licensing fees legally or contractually required for the use of all Controlled Compositions and Non- Controlled Compositions embodied in any product distributed by Sonorant VR2L Media®.

Are There Any Set-Up Fees, Monthly Fees or Other
Hidden Costs?

Sonorant VR2L Media® does not charge a set-up fee, a build fee (to build your Album), or a monthly hosting fee. We take only 20% of all sales to cover all these expenses. This means we are HIGHLY MOTIVATED to promote and sell your product. It is a no-risk investment for you the Artist. Yes, we really believe in our product!!

There are no other hidden costs, although you should know that if you are a Resident of Second Life® and choose to have payments go directly to your Apez account, exchanges from that account to your avatar's Linden Balance are subject to Apez's exchange rate. However, Apez does NOT charge an account handling or transfer fee (learn more HERE).

Additionally, PayPal charges a fee for payments to your PayPal account should you choose to be paid in this way.

How Do I Get Paid?

There are three ways to be paid.

1. RECOMMENDED. If you are a Resident of Second Life®, we recommend that you create a free account with Apez (http://www.apez.biz). This allows you to be paid instantly when one of your media products is sold. Note that you can exchange the Linden Dollars available in your Apez account paid to your avatar's Linden Balance. This transaction is subject to Apez's exchange rates. Apez DOES NOT charge account handling or transfer fees. Learn more HERE.

2. If you are a Resident of Second Life® and do not wish to be paid through Apez, you can choose to be paid in Lindens or via PayPal. Note that PayPal charges a fee for all payments made through their system.

3. If you are not a Resident of Second Life®, you can choose to be paid via PayPal or via US check. Note that PayPal charges a fee for all payments made through their system.
